In the landscape of London’s robust security industry, the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space sectors have proven themselves dependable as the backbone of the city with ADS at the forefront to lead technological development. ADS is a UK trade association with over 1300 members. At the heart of ADS’s mission is the commitment to securing the UK’s advantage on all international fronts and securing international recognition for innovation. ADS provides multiple services to its members whether it’s to offer industry representation or facilitate business opportunities. The trade association spearheads a number of activities, events and programs that greatly benefit its members on all levels. One standout event in London’s security calendar is the Defence in Space Conference. This two-day affair examines an array of topics spanning MilSat, Space ISR, Earth Observation, Geospatial and Defence Strategies. Over the years it’s become a global phenomenon that’s nurtured a tightknit community working on space defense and cyber strategies. The most recent edition had 600 attendees, 56 speakers, 33 sponsors and 25 exhibitors. If we’re to talk about economic bridges between countries, then we have to mention the presence of the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group in London (CASG-L). The London office is the central hub for CASG activity in the UK and Europe. CASG-L plays a pivotal role in providing acquisition and sustainment support to Defence and other Australian government agencies. Offering comprehensive procurement services, strategic representation, and engagement with governments and industries, CASG-L adds a layer of international collaboration to London's security industry.
