Exhibitions in Düsseldorf, Germany for Yachting

Düsseldorf possesses a skillful and excelling yacht industry, which goes from strength to strength thanks to the presence of boot Düsseldorf. The city, already a hub for building yachts, only gained in visibility and international business. The event is considered to be the world’s largest boat and water sports trade fair. The 2024 gave the stage to over 1500 exhibitors, which showcased their latest offerings. The exhibition halls buzzed with excitement as visitors explored a diverse and innovative range of products, from motor yachts to charter options and holiday destinations. Despite challenges such as winter weather and a rail strike impacting attendance during the initial weekend, boot Düsseldorf 2024 still drew over 100,000 international individuals from nearly 100 countries by Wednesday evening. The media presence at boot Düsseldorf 2024 was equally noteworthy, with 1,889 representatives from 105 countries in attendance. Their coverage and commentary highlighted the comprehensive representation of the industry’s leading players, solidifying boot Düsseldorf's reputation as the premier boat show on the global stage. Richard Michell of Canadian Boating succinctly captured the sentiment, dubbing it ""the best boat show in the world."" In a nod to the imperative of ocean conservation, boot Düsseldorf, in collaboration with the Monegasque Prince Albert II Foundation and the German Ocean Foundation, presented the ""ocean tribute"" award. This prestigious accolade, bestowed annually as part of the BLUE MOTION NIGHT, aims to recognize and support individuals, projects, or initiatives dedicated to protecting the oceans. The ECOP AFRICA network walked away with the coveted prize for their exceptional work in the field of nature-based carbon sequestration and sustainable aquaculture in Africa. Peter Teye Busumprah, representing the initiative, outlined ECOP AFRICA's multifaceted approach, which includes marine ecosystem restoration, combating illegal fishing practices, and leveraging indigenous knowledge to address climate change and poverty alleviation.
