Exhibitions in Frankfurt am Main, Germany for Aerospace, Airport Technology

When we talk about aerospace and the future of flight in Germany, names like Munich and Berlin often spring to mind, and for good reason. These cities indeed host thriving aerospace hubs with 32 companies in Munich and 15 in Berlin, shaping the country's exciting journey into space, but we also need to consider the contributions made by the Rhine-Main and Frankfurt as its biggest and best example. The city is populated by industry juggernauts. A subsidiary of the renowned Deutsche Lufthansa, Lufthansa Technik is on a mission to ensure aircraft keep soaring through the skies. With six specialized business units, they offer maintenance, repair and overhaul services. From intensive aircraft overhauls to scheduled engine maintenance, Lufthansa Technik stands at the forefront of aviation readiness. They also create customized VIP jet interiors. With more than 50 affiliates and subsidiaries, their expertise serves about 650 customer airlines worldwide. Then there’s RTX, which combines the strengths of Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney and Raytheon. Their collective pursuit is to tackle the most complex questions and challenges in the aerospace and defense sectors, illustrating a commitment to advancement and progress in these industries. The European Space Agency (ESA) is located in Frankfurt. The ESA is dedicated to developing space research, advancing satellite technologies and fostering services that enhance space-based solutions. Completing the list is Airbus, which has long been a mainstay brand in the industry and an engine of innovation. The international giant specializes in designing, manufacturing and delivering aerospace products, services and solutions to clients around the world. Their vision extends beyond the aircraft they build. Their company goals emphasize responsible, sustainable and inclusive business practices. While Frankfurt might not be the first city that comes to mind when envisioning Germany’s aerospace sector, it's an integral part of this dynamic landscape.
