South of England Show – Update

The South of England Show 2023 will be held between 09.06.2023 and 11.06.2023. The event will take place at the South of England Showground as a face-to-face trade show. The venue will not feature the most up-to-date COVID-19 prevention measures as part of the event's format. This is because of the UK removing its pandemic-related restrictions.

Established first in 1967, The South of England Show has deep roots in the traditions of British agriculture and serves as a community hub for younger generations to experience the full breadth of what the countryside has to offer. The county show has a broad profile, with it serving as a place to observe trends in agriculture and horticulture, a festival to enjoy delicious cuisine, arts, and sports and also a thrilling arena for equestrian competitions, stunts, and showcases. The South of England Show is an important part of driving the local economy by giving local manufacturers and brands the platform to gain visibility and reach a wider audience.

The South of England Show arrives on the first Thursday in June every year, and editions run for a total of three days. The annual county show takes up the South of England Showground located in Ardingly, Sussex, with the overall space of 150 acres. This quintessentially English show opens its door to the public, with tickets being sold at £22 for adults and £20 for senior Citizens and students. Anyone under the age of 16 enters free of charge. The South of England Show is put on by The South of England Agricultural Society – a charity patronized by the Queen herself with a mission to fund and develop agricultural education. The show ground finds itself between London and Brighton, which makes it easily reached by cars and rail, with East Grinstead and Haywards Heath stations being the closest. The distance from Gatwick Airport is also short, with commutes being no longer than 15 minutes.

What You Can Expect as an Exhibitor

  • The South of England Agricultural Society is a place for everyone as the show has a lot of distinct zones – a new addition to the layout – that accommodate every exhibitor from food and beverages to artisanal goods and equestrian wares. This further brings highly targeted foot traffic to your booth;
  • The South of England Agricultural Society gives exhibitors the opportunity to choose from a variety of options in how they want to showcase their wares, from outside space to covered stands. You also have options to enter the Wine Walk route and be located in the Food & Drinks Village for those relevant;
  • Above all else, The South of England Agricultural Society is about establishing better and stronger connections with customers in the county. Its relaxed atmosphere guarantees fun interactions and most of all, you’re increasing sales and courting new markets. With this comes brand awareness.
