Update for the Event

The Northern Shooting Show 2023 will be held as a face-to-face event at the Great Yorkshire Showground. The live trade fair will take place between May 6th, 2023 and May 7th, 2023. The United Kingdom currently has no travel or domestic Covid-19 restrictions. Participants will be strongly encouraged to adhere to recommendations like wearing face masks indoors.

The Northern Shooting Show – often abbreviated to NSS – is a new addition to the various shows held in Harrogate and is one of the fastest growing as well. The very first edition was held back in 2016 and each successor has seen more interest than before to the great satisfaction of exhibitors.

The Northern Shooting Show is not just for the purchase of guns, but for connecting with the entire history and surrounding culture with classic gun models on display. There’s also an element of teaching the next generation in hunting, bush craft and game keeping. The product categories on display include shotguns, rifles, airguns, optics, nightvision, artisanal work, hunting gear, hunting clothes and gundogs. Northern Yorkshire has a long tradition of hunting and shooting, so NSS is the perfect venue to explore new market opportunities and connect with a brand new audience in a friendly and enthusiastic environment.

The Northern Shooting Show arrives in the midst of spring in the town of Harrogate in Yorkshire and editions run for a total of two days usually in May. Exhibitors and visitors make the most out of the Great Yorkshire Showground through the entirety of the three days as opening hours start 08:30 am until 17:30 pm except for closing day, which wraps up at 16:00 pm. Admission is given to all age groups. The organisers of the shooting show is also Northern Shooting Show. The Great Yorkshire Showground is located on the outskirts of the town and is easily accessed by car, coach, and train. There’s a coach park right at the entrance and Harrogate Railway Station is a five-minute drive away. If you’re flying in, the Leeds Bradford International Airport can be reached under half an hour via car.
