The UK's staple recycling and resource management event

RWM has been a staple event within environment and climate protection, and it is run for close to six decades, with the very first edition being held in 1965. RWM has been the premier platform for manufacturers and engineers to launch revolutionary tech for waste management, waste utilization, waste avoidance, and recycling in the UK. Now more than ever, governments all around the world and businesses need to adopt a greener approach to their operations. This makes RWM the place to be in order to conduct business at the highest level and stay fully informed on breakthroughs in processes and equipment. RWM is divided into six distinct zones that service the entire value chain – Transport & Collections, Machinery & Equipment, Recyclers & Reprocessors, Data Tech & Services, Energy from Waste, and Future Resource. The further specialization within the structure of the show promises qualified leads and greater visibility.

RWM 2023

RWM's 2023 edition will occur at the NEC Birmingham between the dates 13.09.2023 and 14.09.2023. The event will take place as a live exhibition without strict Covid-19 prevention measures in place.   • “Once again a fantastic RWM 2019 exhibition, very well organised and I was quite impressed with the amount of exhibitors in their field of specialist technologies and with their capabilities. The event was packed with so much knowledge and great speakers,” – Key Account Manager Environmental Power, Siemens;
  • “At Tyre & Rubber Recycling we have long felt that RWM could be of key importance for the tyre recycling sector. This year we exhibited for the first time and noticed that there were a lot of tyre recyclers walking around the show and wanting to talk to us about tyre recycling. We also noticed a significant increase in footfall compared to what we’d noticed at the show in the past,” – Publisher, Tyre & Rubber Recycling;
  • “RWM is a one stop shop for everything from items you can procure “now” to networking with blue sky innovators for the “future”. RWM was a wonderful collaboration of innovation, analysis, manufacturing, startups, and anything you can think of involving waste conversion and waste processing,” – Dr Anne Meier, NASA.

RWM has reached its size and reputation through strategic support from and partnerships with a lot of reputable companies – Zappshelter, Valpak, Wastecare, Arca, AWE International, BSiF, The Water Network and Plant Planet to name a few. It’s contributed to the impressive numbers RWM double generates. Editions see participation from 500+ international exhibitors, while the audience often exceeds 10,000 industry insiders. Exhibitors fall in the broader category of suppliers in the areas of waste recovery and recycling, and they are frequently considered to be the leaders in their niche and country. Trade visitors happen to be buyers, national and local authorities, representatives of industrial and commercial businesses, engineers, scientists, and experts.
