Covid-19 Update

Transport Logistic 2023 and Air cargo Europe 2023 will take place as hybrid events. The trade fairs will take place at Messe Munich between the dates 9.05.2023 and 12.05.2023. The hosting venue will feature the latest and strictest Covid-19 prevention measures. These will include the 3G entry policy (vaccinated, recovered or negative test results) and social distancing.

Introduction 

Air Cargo Europe first took place in 2003 as a separate event from Transport Logistic. The dual exhibition and conference took shape as a way to respond to the ever growing air logistic market at the start of the new millennium. Although Air Cargo Europe still runs together with Transport Logistic, it has developed its own character and has the reputation as the best event for the entire world. The exhibition portion covers the entire processing chain and displays the best and newest equipment, machinery and technology. Product categories include navigation aids, communication systems, information systems, RFID, utility vehicles, air-freight, airplanes, airport equipment. The international conference complements the business opportunities with an unbeatable programme, which presents technological innovations, market trends and evolving processes. 

Logistics 

Air Cargo Europe shares a stage with Transport Logistic in Munich, Germany every two years and serves as an extension of the older trade show. Editions are held at Messe München and last four days total. The event usually occupies a slot in early May. Registration is only open to trade visitors and Messe München GmbH serves as the official organiser for the event. Expected work hours are from 09:00 in the morning until 18:00 in the afternoon, but be sure to check the schedule for any last minute changes. Now let’s talk about how to get to Messe München. The exhibition centre is excellently connected to public transport. The best way is to catch the U2 subway line, but there are also buses that go there frequently. Messe München also has quick connections to the Munich Airport and Munich Central Station.

Because Air Cargo Europe is part of Transport Logistic, we’ll look into the overall attendance as there is a lot of overlap. The last live event managed to showcase products from 2374 exhibitors from 63 countries and regions. As a result, there were more than 64,000 visitors from 125 different countries. The majority of visitors came from countries in the European Union and Europe, which are then followed by countries in Asia, the Middle East and the Americas. Air Cargo Europe 2021 took place as a digital edition between May 4th and May 6th, 2021. The event coincided with Transport Logistic 2021 and received 8500 participants. The participants attended  87 conference sessions including 30 company ones.
