A French investor sets sights on revitalizing the former site of an insolvent mineral water producer in Jessen, Saxony-Anhalt. The company aims to establish a cutting-edge production facility that will include two bottling lines producing 400 million bottles of Jessen mineral water annually. Up to EUR 50 million have been earmarked to realize this ambitious plan, which investors expect to generate approximately 60 new jobs. Multisector catering specialist Newrest is set to invest EU 10 million in establishing in-flight catering units in Berlin and Frankfurt. Securing partnerships with major airlines, including EasyJet, China Airlines, Air Astana, LATAM Chile Airlines and Egypt Air, Newrest is gearing up for expansion into the German market. Further plans include the establishment of additional in-flight catering units in Munich and Hamburg in 2023.
